Benefit for Califf High School
The Maggie Califf High School Alumni Association will host a Gospel Fest at Mt. Salem Baptist Church on Cleveland Street in Gray, Aug. 18, from 4-6 p.m.
Performers will include local church choirs, duets, soloists, and quartets. Admission to the program is free, but a donation will be requested from attendees. Come enjoy this musical extravaganza.
Jones County Hunter Education Class
The GA Department of Natural Resources will be conducting a free required hunter safety class Saturday, Aug. 16, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. at Jones County Fire Station 5 in Wayside. All supplies are provided, and no cost required.
