A season of baseball and softball among players young and old is set to conclude next week among the youth baseball ranks. As the summer draws near, there will be no shortage of sports camps hosted by the Greyhounds and Lady Greyhounds for youngsters from Jones County and surrounding areas. Overall, JCHS will host a total of 11 different sports camps.

The Chiefs also entered the GHSA Class AAAAA state tournament ranked sixth in their classification.

With her determined play on both ends of the floor, Amaris Ridgeway was a focal point of what made the Lady Greyhounds successful during her career at JCHS. That was capped the past two seasons by a berth in the Sweet 16 and this past year a trip to the Elite 8 with Jones County playing for a Final Four appearance on its home floor.
