Women in Mission Annual Yard Sale
The annual Women in Mission yard sale will be held Saturday, March 1, 8:00 a.m.-12:00 p.m., at Gray Methodist Church, 121 Gordon Street, Gray. Funds raised will support Women in Mission throughout the year.
Gray Tractor Supply
Tractor Supply Company is hosting a pet treat tasting event here in Gray. Planned for Feb. 15, from 10 a.m. until 2 p.m., this event will give pets the chance to sample a variety of pet treats available at Tractor Supply Company.
Miriam Ethridge Scholarship
Applications for the Miriam Ethridge Pilot Club of Jones County Scholarships are currently being accepted.
Two $1,500 scholarships will be offered for the 2024-2025 school year. Applications for the scholarships are available to any high school senior who is a resident of Jones County. Applications may be obtained from the School Counselor’s office at Jones County High School, or any of the following locations in Gray: Ace Hardware, Exchange Bank, Magnolia Bank, Morris Bank, Cadence Bank and the Jones County Public Library, or Pilot Club of Jones County Facebook page. CASA Training
Ocmulgee Court Appointed Special Advocates (CASA) will hold their new Volunteer Training every Monday and Wednesday, February 3-19, from 1-4 p.m. each day at the Putnam Administration Building, 117 Putnam Drive in Eatonton. CASA volunteers serve as advocates for children in foster care, and volunteers are needed from all eight counties of the Ocmulgee Judicial Circuit (Baldwin, Greene, Hancock, Jasper, Jones, Morgan, Putnam and Wilkinson).
