Woman dies in Sand Creek Trail house fire

    Last week’s fire at a residence on Sand Creek Trail took the life of the property owner with the cause of the blaze remaining undetermined.

    Jones County Fire Chief Don Graham reported the victim was identified as 64-year-old Brenda Jo Kelly.

    The chief stated in a press release that fire units responded to the structure fire at approximately 6:30 p.m. Nov. 16. He said the singlestory modular dwelling…
