The Georgia Bureau of Investigation and the Gray Police Department both issued press releases last week concerning the arrest of a local law enforcement officer with 25 years of service.Former GPD Officer Paul Hathway turned himself into the Jones County Sheriff’s Office Aug. 20.

Charges against a former Gray Police Officer were released by the Georgia Bureau of Investigation Thursday morning as well as the Gray Police Department.The GBI release states William Paul Hathaway, 54, of Gray was arrested and charged with sexual battery.
