Defendant pleads guilty during jury selection

The power of a jury was evident once again when a Jones County defendant decided to enter a guilty plea after the first round of jurors were questioned in preparation of his trial.

Scott Sells traveled to Macon last week to watch his son’s friends graduate from Mercer University.That same day, on May 11, Gov. Brian Kemp signed a bill into law that Sells had testified for during this year’s legislative session.
