Allen Tabor is the local veteran of the week. He served in the U.S. Army from 1942-1945. He completed his basic training at Camp Wheeler in Macon, after which he was assigned to the 34th Infantry Division and was deployed to North Africa.

Real Life

The tithe is first mentioned in Gen. 14:20 when Abram tithed to the priest Melchizedek. In Gen. 28:22, Jacob vowed to give God a tenth of all he should ever receive. In Mal. 3: 8-10, God states that anyone who withholds tithes is actually stealing from Him. And Jesus never did away with the tithe.
