The Save Our Students conference was born in Jones County as the result of the experiences of Pastor Randy Darnell of First Baptist Church teaching fourth and fifth graders at his church on Wednesday nights.

Gray’s City Council members approved lighting for a dark area on Bill Conn Jr. Parkway and took another step toward a transportation sales tax despite having two missing members at their June meeting.
Ocmulgee Court Appointed Special Advocates (CASA) recently swore in four new volunteers. These dedicated individuals will serve as the voice for children experiencing foster care and will advocate for their best interest in court.
