Driver in high-speed chase headed to prison

An Ohio man arrested in March of last year entered a guilty plea to the charges against him and received a 10-year sentence.Christopher Sargent was in Jones County Superior Court Feb. 19. He was ordered to serve the first four years of the 10-year sentence in prison.

Mock interviews give students head start on career prep

Jones County High School students gained valuable realworld experience through two days of mock interviews that brought local industry leaders onto campus.Approximately 470 students sat for interviews with nearly 40 professionals from 26 businesses and organizations on January 22 and February 3.
