A sense of closure over a fraternity brother long lost

The mystery is solved. I now know what happened to my fraternity brother, Maj. Paschal Boggs, USMC, who was declared Missing in Action in 1967. Finally, there is a sense of closure. Pat Boggs and I were from the same town, East Point, and we were both undergrads at the University of Georgia.

Two die in wreck at dangerous intersection

A mother and daughter from Wilcox County lost their lives crossing Gray Highway last week. The deceased are listed as Rhonda Lynn Kennedy, 59, and Hazel Wallace, 75, both from Pitts. The accident happened just before 6 p.m., Dec. 5, at the intersection of Homer Roberts Road and Gray Highway.
