Jones County Coalition members considered the direction for year two of a new contract with Georgia Department of Behavioral Health and Development Disabilities at its October meeting.The goal of the organization is to bring awareness to the issue and reduce the number of suicides in Jones County.

The Pilot Cub’s October project was donations to Sonrise Ministry and Pantry. Members brought contributions to the Oct. 28 meeting, and items were delivered the following day. We were graciously received, and after everything was unloaded, we got to see the food pantry and the refrigerator.
