Tucked away in a metal building on a dead-end street in Jones County is a recording studio, and in that studio at all hours of the day is a former band member who was recently inducted into a music hall of fame.

The Gray Garden Club held its annual daylily contest June 7 at the W.E. Knox Civic Center with an estimated 100 entries received. The entry categories ranged from unnamed to all varieties. This year’s contest ended with a tie for first place.
