The turning of the calendar to 2026 saw play continuing at the Government Center Gymnasium last week for Jones County Parks & Recreation’s youth basketball leagues.
Competition last week included the boys instructional league, which hosted three games on Friday night.
The regular season of each league extends into February with postseason play to follow.
