Leila was born on April 27, 1940, in Chula, Georgia to the late Robert and Bessie Tucker Findley. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Mahoney and siblings, Geneva Brady, Jerome Findley and Dennis Findley.

Leila was a loving, giving person and loved to meet and help people at her daughter’s consignment store. She had a wonderful sense of humor much like the “Golden Girls.” She was a wonderful cook and loved gardening and was a talented floral arranger. Her legacy to her children and all those who knew her best was her quiet, humble, supportive and spiritual nature. She just wanted to be remembered most of all as a loving mother.

Leila is survived by her children, two daughters; Robbie Jennings and her children, Jaclyn Jennings, Becky (Brad) Reeves, Libby (Mike) Nasworthy and their children, Janie Batchelor (John) Kearney, Jamie Faulkner Adams, Gene (Brandi) Nasworthy, Hunter Peacock, sons; Bucky (Shelby) Gregory and their children Ashley (Travis) Galli, Dakota (Maggie) Crumpton, Dylan Crumpton, Brittany (Scott) Willis, and Rusty Gregory.

She is also survived by her seventeen great-grandchildren.
