Fire due to rechargeable batteries ruled accidental

Gray Fire Department responded to a residential structure fire on the 200 block of Old Clinton Road at 5:26 p.m., arriving to find heavy fire conditions at the rear of the home. GFD E71 and C70 arrived at 5:28 p.m. Crews quickly initiated an aggressive fire attack, established a water supply, and successfully contained and extinguished the fire confining it to two rooms.
