Carolyn Floyd Lee passed away on Tuesday, May 19, 2026, at Alexander Assisted Living, Macon, GA. A celebration of her life will be Saturday, May 30, 2026, at Elam Baptist Church at 2:00 p.m. with a visitation for family and friends at 1:00 p.m.

Carolyn was born on July 3, 1932, to the late Clarence and Mary Lou Chance Floyd. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Archie Charlie (Pat) Lee. Pat is waiting for her by Jesus side on the streets of gold. Carolyn’s siblings, Harris Floyd and Shirley Chance.
Carolyn was a stayat- home mom when her children were young.
She entered the work force for Tom’s Candy Plant where she retired after twenty-two years of service. Known for her unwavering faith and her dedication to her Lord and Savior and her family. She found joy in helping others and telling them about God. She was a faithful member of Wheeler Heights Baptist Church where she taught Sunday School for over sixty years and Elam Baptist Church where she also taught Sunday School for over ten years.
Carolyn started teaching Sunday School when she was fifteen and taught until she was eighty-two.
Left to cherish memories they made with her are her five daughters, Patricia (Ed) Smith, Vickie (Ed) Flowers, Sherry (James) Story, Barbara (Dennis) Holmes and Teresa (David) Butler; 11 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; and her sister, Doris Maddox. She spent her summers with her loving grandchildren at Lake Sinclair. They all loved her spaghetti and monkey bread, always asking her to make it often.
Carolyn loved her church and asked that in lieu of flowers, she would like for you to make donations in her memory to Elam Baptist Church, 200 Elam Church Road, Gray, GA 31032 or Wheeler Heights Baptist Church, 4318 Riggins Mill Road, Macon, GA 31217. She will be remembered for saying “God Loves You.”
