Dear Editor:
My name is Angela V. Jackson Watson. I was born in Jones County and lived there from 1960-1979, while in the 12th grade, I joined the US Army on delayed entry, upon graduating from JCHS, I left for Basic Training at Fort Jackson, SC and on to Advanced Initial Training at Indy, IN as a Personnel Management Specialist, on to my first assigned at Fort Sill, OK, then Frankfurt, GE, Fort Polk, LA, Seoul, Korea, Fort Knox, KY, Anchorage, AK, and Fort Belvoir after 23 years of military service, I retired in 2004. I currently work for the Federal Government and will be retiring next year, the Lord willing. I reside in Manassas, VA. I would personally like to thank, at that time who was my Health teacher, Mr. Cecil Patterson, Thank you.
