Gloria “Fay” P. Gerdes residing in Macon, Georgia, passed away on Sept. 27, 2022, surrounded by her loving family. A memorial service was held Saturday, Oct. 1, 2022, at 2:00 p.m. in the chapel of Gray Memorial Chapel 4378 Gray Highway, Gray Georgia. She moved to Oak Harbor, Washington in 1976 and worked as a loan officer at Island Savings Bank then as an Allstate Insurance Agent. She and her adoring husband Doug made their way back to Macon in 2004. Fay was an avid gardener with a giving heart.
Fay is preceded in death by her parents: C. H. Parks and Inez Nobles Parks and son: James Anthony Taylor.
