Jones County mirrored most of the state with a majority of voters casting their ballots for Brian Kemp for governor and other Republican candidates in the down ballot contests.
Jones County also voted for Republican U.S. Senate candidate Hershel Walker by a margin close to three to one. Walker received 8,089 votes to 3,989 for Democratic incumbent Sen. Raphael Warnock.
