Lake Sinclair: Clinton Bennett (C.B.) Galyean passed away Wednesday morning, Dec. 14, 2022, at his residence, 29 days after his beloved, Eleanor.
Graveside services were held Saturday, Dec. 17, 2022, at 11:00 a.m. at Cedar Ridge Cemetery, Greene Settlement Road, Gray, Georgia with Rev. Greg Thompson officiating.
C.B. was born on July 6, 1928, to the late Clinton Bramlett Galyean and Rachael Pate Galyean in Alapaha, Georgia.
He served his country proudly in the United States Air Force in World War II. C.B. was employed by Warner Robins Air Force base for thirty-eight years as a civil servant in quality assurance.
He enjoyed life at its best sitting on his front porch enjoying a cup of coffee, with his sweetie, overlooking the lake and fishing.
Preceded in death by his only sibling, sister, Mary Francis Swain.
Survived by his four boys, Benny (Sharon), Arnold (Kathy), Dennis (Laura) and Brad (Coralie) Galyean; grandchildren, Brian Galyean, Eric (Stephanie) Galyean, Amanda (Joel) Hubbard, Robert Galyean, Patricia (Nick) Driggers and Peter Galyean and seven great-grandchildren.
Flowers will be accepted by the family and appreciated.
