Tammy Coulter Godwin, 58, of Macon, GA, passed away Wednesday, Jan. 11, 2023. The family greeted friends Sunday, Jan. 15, 2023, from 4:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m. at Hart’s Mortuary, Jones County Chapel. Funeral services were held at 11:00 a.m., Monday, Jan. 16, 2023, at Hart’s Mortuary, Jones County Chapel with the Reverend John Haney officiating. Burial was held at Middle Georgia Memory Gardens. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to All About Animals, P.O. Box 4331, Macon GA 31208.
Daughter of the late Leonard and Shirley Slaughter Coulter, Tammy was the assistant deli manager at Ingles where she worked for over 20 years. She loved her family, cooking, and all furbabies. In addition to her parents Tammy was preceded in death by her brothers, William Larry Coulter, and Leonard “Buster” Coulter, and sister, Linda Coulter.

her husband of 17 years, Dewey Godwin of Macon; nieces, Brandi Bonamo (Gary) of Haddock, Courtney Coulter (Jordan) of Jones County, Georgia, and Amy McKee (Sam) of Gray; nephews, Travis Ellison of Gray and Ellis Smallwood of Summerville, South Carolina.
