Armed robber pleads guilty, to serve 10 years

A Macon man received a sentence that included 10 years to serve in prison as the result of an armed robbery that took place at a local motel. Shedric Lanorris Mims entered a guilty plea in Jones County Superior Court Jan. 3 and received five years for the charge of felony theft by taking and 10 years for a second felony theft by taking charge.
