Hounds Bound for postseason

    The Greyhounds will officially head toward Augusta to begin the postseason on Monday.

    Jones County, which wraps up the regular season Friday at home against Warner Robins, will travel to face perennial powerhouse Greenbrier on Monday. The teams will play in a doubleheader at 4 p.m. to begin the best-of-three series with a third game if needed, set for Tuesday.

    The Wolfpack, champions of their region with a record of 23-4 overall and 13-1 in region play, have advanced to the quarterfinal round the past five postseasons in a row.

    This won't be the first time the Greyhounds and Wolfpack have crossed paths, as they were formerly in the same region,Jones County lost 9-7 to Greenbrier in a region crossover playoff in 2016.
