John Henry Crouch, 61, of Jonesboro, GA, died unexpectedly on Monday, May 29, 2023, at Piedmont Hospital in Henry County, Georgia.
John was born in Milledgeville, Georgia on November 12, 1961. He was preceded in death by his parents, Walter and Shirley Crouch, and a grandson, Andrew Crouch. He is survived by wife, Rosa Gomez of Guadalajara, Mexico, daughter, Christina Morgan (Cheyenne) of Haddock, Georgia, sons, Jonathan (Jennifer) of Jacksonville, Florida, and Wesley of Gray, Georgia, grandchildren, Noah Vaughan, Mason Newsome, Morgan Corley, Cohen Corley, Dozier Crouch, Jaxson Crouch, Sophie Crouch.
He is also survived by sister, Florella Crouch, brother, David Crouch (Sue), and sister, Kathryn Barwick (Toby), along with nieces, nephews, grand nieces and nephews, and great grand nieces and nephews.
John’s latest employment was with Swift Transportation driving a big rig. Before that, he was employed as an engineer with Marriott Hotels at Atlanta-Hartsfield Airport until the pandemic caused it to close. He was a jack of all trades, reinventing himself many times through the years, adapting himself to situations as they arose with a smile on his face. John never met a stranger, he knew everybody’s name, and was friendly and made everybody laugh.
He was passionate about many things, including fishing, bowling, horseshoes, and grilling. He will be sorely missed by all who knew him.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, June 17, 2023, at 5 p.m. in Williams Funeral Home Chapel in Milledgeville.
The family will receive friends at Williams Funeral Home on Saturday from 4-5 p.m.
