Dot Stripling, 79, of Jones County, passed away on Wednesday, June 14, 2023. Her graveside service was held on Saturday, June 17, 2023, at 2:00 p.m., at Antioch Baptist Church Cemetery, Dry Branch, Georgia. The family greeted friends for a time of visitation on Friday, June 16, 2023, from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at Hart’s Mortuary, Jones County Chapel.
Dot was a lifelong resident of Twiggs County. She was a loving mother, granny, and homemaker. She raised her family in the tightknit community of Griswoldville. She was a life-time member of Antioch Baptist Church in Dry Branch. She loved to garden and cook for her family, always putting others first. She loved her family and Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. She will be missed dearly.
She is survived by her children, Warren Stripling (Reneé), Gina Keene (Randy), Sherri Stripling, and Michael Stripling; her grandchildren, Karissa Robinson (Corey Crane), Lukas Stripling (Ashley), Samantha Hammock (Cody), Emily Keene, Jacob Carter; her great-grandchild, Elizabeth-Rose Robinson; and many loving nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her parents, Andrew Adkins and Idel Mae Adkins.
