Beverly Worsham Jones

Beverly Worsham Jones “MaMa” passed away on July 11, 2023. Beverly Worsham Jones was taken by her guardian angel’s hand to join her Lord and Savior in Heaven. She was a loving mother, and a Blessed MaMa to eight grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren. She was always there for each and every one of them.

Beverly was born on February 27, 1942, in Macon, Georgia to Ethel and Russell Worsham.

She graduated from A.L.

Miller High School and then began work at the First National Bank. She then went to work for the Department of Labor and moved up the chain of command, where she retired as a Field Agent in the Tax Division after thirty-four years of service.

Beverly was a member of Northridge Baptist Church and the Circle of Faith Sunday School Class. She worked on many committees including the decoration, condolence, nursery, kitchen and Vacation Bible School. She loved children of all ages.

Beverly was known for her love of family, flowers and was a member of the Federated Garden Club of Gray. She had a green thumb and could turn a weed into something beautiful. She especially loved Hydrangeas and another passion of hers was the Atlanta Braves. If it was on TV, she surely was watching them play.

Beverly was preceded in death by her husband of fifty-one years, Eddie Mack, her parents Ethel and Russell Worsham, grandmother, Molly Eva Worsham, two brothers, Tommy and Jimmy Worsham.

She is survived by her three children, Chris (Penny) Ward, Cindy (Keith) Bloodworth and Tracie (Michael) McMillan. Also, her eight grandchildren, Dusty (Tracy) Bloodworth, Danielle Ward Ware, Jacob (Christie) Bloodworth, Josh (Anna) Ward, Ethan Bloodworth, Patrick (Ashlyn) Bloodworth, Chandler and Caleigh McMillan, also ten great-grandchildren.

She is also survived by three sisters Sybil Jones, Faye (Jerry) Johnson, and Brenda Shreve, as well as sisters in love, Suzanne Worsham and Donna (Bob) Parchman, brothers and sisters in law, Jerry (Aileen), Jane Worsham, Billy (Barbara), Danny, Steve (Charlotte), Rusty (Gwen), and brother in love Jerry Johnson, four brothers in laws, Mark (Caren) Briscoe, Bill (Jamie) Briscoe and Dan (Cynthia) Briscoe.

Her Celebration of Life was held on Saturday, July 15, 2023 at 11:00 AM at Gray Memorial Chapel, 4378 Gray Highway, Gray, Georgia 31032, with a visitation for family and friends at 10:00 AM.

Officiating was Rev.

Chuck Beaver and Rev.

Gary Walker. A private graveside service followed at Riverside Cemetery Macon, Georgia. Flowers will be accepted by the family in the memory of Beverly.
