Mr. Ronald Eugene Robinson, Sr., age 76, passed away on Saturday, November 11, 2023.
Funeral services were held at 1 PM on Thursday, November 16, 2023, in the Chapel of Victory Baptist Church with Rev.
Kenny Walker officiating. Interment was held at Georgia Veterans Memorial Cemetery.
The family received friends at the church from 11 AM until the service hour.
Mr. Robinson was a native of Augusta and had made his home in Milledgeville since 1981.
He was the son of the late Willie L. “Nubby” and Sarah Goff Robinson, and loved golf, Georgia football, and most of all his family, wife, children, and grandchildren. He retired as Chief Financial Officer from T & S Hardwoods and was a veteran of the United States Navy. He was a member of Victory Baptist Church where he served as a Deacon, and a member of the American Legion. He was lovingly known as Santa Ron for the past 14 years and was always very punctual.
He is survived by his wife, Margie Byrd Robinson; sons, Ronald “Ron” Robinson (Kollin), and Marcus Robinson (Lee Ann); grandchildren, Caroline (Matt Diaz), Kati, Reid, Ronan, Zoey and Layla, all of Milledgeville; brother, Gerald Robinson; sister, Debbie Kroll (Dan Waggner); stepmother, Lucille Robinson, all of Martinez.
In lieu of flowers, Memorial Contributions may be made to Victory Baptist Church, 640 Meriwether Road, Milledgeville, GA 31061.
