Mr. Caden Phillip McNeill, 17, of Gray, passed away Wednesday, January 10, 2024. A memorial service was held at Hart’s Mortuary Jones County Chapel, Monday, January 15, 2024, at 4:00PM with the Reverend Barry Collins officiating. The family greeted friends immediately following the service.
Caden was in his senior year at Jones County High School. A sweet and loving kid, he was a gentle giant who always seemed to know when someone needed a hug. Caden was a deep thinker with an interest in history and aspired to earn a degree in Information Technology from Central Georgia Technical College. His friends and family will remember him as a great conversationalist who was intelligent and funny. Caden enjoyed playing video games, hunting, and fishing.
Caden was preceded in death by his father, Phillip McNeill. He is survived by his parents, Terri McNeill and Chad Phillips, Sr. of Gray, Georgia; brothers, Nickolas McNeill of Gray and Chad Phillips, Jr. (Casey) of Madison, Georgia; grandparents, Billie “Grammy” and Wayne Bullington of Gray, Ray and Gloria Phillips of Gray; aunt, Sarah “Sis” McClain of Gray; uncle, Jon Bullington (Kelly) of Macon; and girlfriend, Caitlyn Allison of Toccoa, Georgia.
