Linda Gail “Ahme” Garoffolo

Linda Gail “Ahme” Garoffolo, age 75, of Gray, GA, passed away peacefully at home on Wednesday, June 19, 2024. Born on April 4, 1949, in Chicago, Illinois, Linda embraced life with a vibrant spirit and a heart full of love and kindness. A Celebration of Life was held on Saturday, June, from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. at the Hubbard Residence, located at 919 Hwy 22 E, Gray, Georgia 31032.

Linda’s passions were as varied as they were joyful. She found immense pleasure in reading books, playing board games, baking special cakes for every occasion, camping, traveling, and searching for seashells. Her love for life was evident in her appreciation for family, the beach, animals, and sailing. Linda’s laughter was often heard when watching funny animal videos and children at play, bringing joy to those around her. Linda was an independent, selfless, and caring woman who lived life to the fullest.

Her wisdom, creativity, and thoughtfulness left a lasting impact on everyone she met.

She is survived by her daughter, Tracie (Keith) Hubbard; her granddaughter, Chelsea Hubbard (Blake Mueller); her sister, Roddi Krivanek; her stepdaughter, Tanya Perry; her step-grandchildren, JT Gibson, Cameron Perry, and Tristyn Perry; and numerous loving family and friends.

Linda was predeceased by her parents, Glen Robert Chapel and Doris Lorayne Myers Chapel, and her husband, Joseph Garoffolo.
