Macy Marie Weathers

Macy Marie Weathers, age 26, of Gray, passed away peacefully at her residence on Thursday, August 8, 2024. Family and friends were invited to a visitation on Sunday, August 11, 2024, from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Gray Memorial Chapel. A funeral service was held the following day, Monday, August 12, 2024, at 10:00 a.m. at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, 284 James Street, Gray, Georgia. Interment followed at Cedar Ridge Cemetery, Greene Settlement Road, Gray, Georgia. Macy was a loving and caring granddaughter who cherished family gatherings. She was a proud graduate of Georgia Military College and Prep School and was most recently a student at Central Georgia Technical College, where she was working towards certification as a medical administrative assistant. Macy’s hard work and dedication were reflected in her achievement of making the dean’s list for the last two semesters.

Her life was a testament to resilience and transformation, as she overcame many challenges and embraced a life focused on positivity and spirituality.

Macy found beauty in flowers and nature, seeing them as symbols of rebirth and renewal. She was driven by high aspirations and surrounded herself with positive affirmations. Macy’s joyful, loving, sassy, and determined spirit touched the lives of everyone who knew her.

Macy had a special bond with her Nana and Papa, Jesse and Linda Weathers, and cherished the time she spent caring for them.

She is survived by her loving parents; Jessica (Heather Andrews) White and Jamie (Christina) Burgoon, her grandparents; Jesse and Linda Weathers and Kimberly Burgoon; her brothers, Ron (Tonya) White, Scott (Claudia) Weathers, and Mark (Arresa) Weathers; her sisters, Malia White, Kristin (Bryan Davis) Frier, and Terri (Rick) Huckvale; her beloved cat; Chanel; as well as numerous cousins, family members, and friends.
