Main Street Gray is hosting a Fall Festival this Saturday, ushering in the season with hayrides and pumpkins.
The festival will take place downtown on Atlanta Road and Madison Street Sept. 21 from 2-6 p.m., not to detract from the Touch a Truck event taking place at the Jones County Sheriff’s Office from 10 a.m. until 2 p.m.
Main Street Manager Ashley Roberson said the festival will feature food trucks along Atlanta Road, and Jones County High School FFA will be bringing their lambs for displaying and petting.
Roberson said Gray Feed and Seed will be hosting hayrides, and Lindsey Rickman of Gray will be selling all varieties of pumpkins.
Other downtown business will be hosting activities, such a corn hole tournament, and there will be a dunking booth featuring JCHS coaches just waiting to be dunked.
Cone Crazy on Main will be offering cotton candy and candy apples in addition to ice cream in the spirit of the day, and at 6 p.m., Chairs on Main Salon is sponsoring a beard contest that will be held on the Terrace on Madison stage.
Roberson said the Terrace on Madison will also have live music following the contest.
The public is invited to come join the fun.
