Duane Edward Walker, 58, of Gray, Georgia, passed away on Tuesday, September 17, 2024. He was born on April 12, 1966, in Forsyth, Georgia.
Duane was a man of many talents, known for his creativity and love of the outdoors. An accomplished artist, he spent much of his time searching for arrowheads and native artifacts, collecting rocks, and enjoying nature. A true jack of all trades, Duane approached life with a free spirit, a heart of gold, and an endless curiosity for the world around him.
He will be deeply missed by his loving family: his parents, Mary and Alan Bryan; his siblings; Lynn Vaughters, Anthony Walker, and Brendon Bryan (Nina); and numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, greatnieces, great-nephews, extended family, and friends. His beloved pet; Patches, was always by his side. He was predeceased by his father; Roger Parker Walker, and his grandparents.
Visitation was held at Gray Memorial Chapel and Crematory, located at 4378 Gray Highway, Gray, Georgia 31032, on Saturday, September 21, 2024, from 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM. Graveside services took place at Cedar Ridge Cemetery, 118 Old Highway 18, Gray, Georgia 31032, on Sunday, September 22, 2024, at 2:00 PM, with Rev. Greg Thompson officiating.
Interment followed at Cedar Ridge Cemetery.
