VOLLEYBALL SENIORS
The Lady Greyhounds concluded their season last week with a burst of momentum into the win column. JCHS staged a sweep of McDonough, winning 25-9 and 25-23 on a day that also included a 2-1 non-region loss to Luella. The Volley Hounds dropped the first set 25-20 before staying alive 28-26 prior to falling 15-13 in the decisive game.
The Lady Greyhounds graduate six seniors off this year’s team but will also benefit from the fact that younger players on the roster gained experience during the past season, an expected returning nucleus that includes Grace Faircloth, Isabella Bodnarchuk and Caroline Rickman.
