would be and doing all she could to point others there as well. Her compassion shone through in the love she shared with children, a true passion that made her a beloved “Mema” to many.
She left a lasting impression on countless young lives through her work in schools, nurseries, Sunday School, and her at-home daycare, “Lily’s Little Learners.” She was a beautiful woman inside and out. Her legacy of unwavering faithfulness and boundless love will continue to inspire all who knew her. To know her was to love her.
Lily is survived by her beloved husband who she remained devoted to for over 42 beautiful years, George Greer. Together they built a life surrounded by family and a home full of love and laughter where all felt welcome.
Lily was a proud mother, Mema and dog mom to her fur babies. Her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren were the light of her life. Lily was survived by her cherished children; daughter, Jessica McIntosh (Johnny) and her children, Taylor Greer (Devin), Madison Collins (Christian), Faith Ann Wood, Colton McIntosh, and Ian McIntosh; son, Wyatt Greer (Carol) and his children, Colbie Hart (Tiffani) and Harley Greer.
Her legacy will continue for generations through her great-grandchildren, Ember Collins and Caleb Hart.
Lily Ann Greer had two favorite verses that depict her life. “Call unto me, and I will answer thee, and show thee great and mighty things, which thou knowest not.” Jeremiah 33:3. Lily had the phone number to Heaven and called upon it consistently for her family and friends. “In my Father’s house are many mansions: if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you.
And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again, and receive you unto myself, that where I am, there ye may be also. And whither I go ye know, and the way ye know.” John 14: 2-4. Lily knew where she was going “without a shadow of doubt,” a solace for all those that loved her.
