Russell C. Curry served in the U. S. Navy from 1963-1967. He received his basic training in San Diego, CA. He served aboard the USS Alfred A. Cunningham (DD752) with two deployments to Vietnam. Curry also served aboard the USS Cogswell (DD651) with one deployment to Vietnam as a Gunner’s mate on both ships.
