Arthur Neal DuLong, age 81, of Hillsboro, Georgia, passed away on Tuesday, December 17, 2024, at Autumn Lane HRC in Gray.
He was born July 18, 1943, in Macon, Georgia.
A Celebration of Life service will be held on January 11, 2025, at 11:00 a.m. at Hillsboro Baptist Church, 2326 State Hwy.
11 S, Hillsboro, Georgia.
The family will greet friends from 10:30 a.m. until 11:00 a.m., prior to the service at Hillsboro Baptist Church. Reverend Len Woodard will officiate.
Arthur is survived by his sister, Ginger DuLong Bailey; sister-in-law, Sylvia DuLong; nephews, Jimmy Bailey (Julie), Robby Bailey (Lynn), Don (Jennifer) DuLong; and nieces, Tora Bailey Christopher (Kevin) and Heather DuLong Brown; several great-nephews and great-nieces. He was preceded in death by his wife, Jean Sue White Dulong; his brother, Ron DuLong; his father, Frank DuLong; and his mother, Catherine DuLong.
Arthur served his country honorably in the United States Army.
Following his military service, he worked at Dunlap Chevrolet as a mechanic. He worked several years at Masonic Home of Georgia. He retired from Greene’s Water Wells over twenty years of employment.
He was a member of Hillsboro Baptist Church. He cherished the fellowship of his church family and the Hillsboro community. He was an avid hunter and fisherman. He loved his cats and dogs.
