Music Medix, Music Medix After Hours and Gray-8-Skate have joined forces to bring an electrifying new event to the local music scene — Rock the Rink.
This exciting collaboration provides a platform for teen bands to showcase their talent in a high-energy environment, combining live music with the thrill of roller skating.
Rock the Rink is not just another concert; it’s a movement. Designed to give young musicians real performance experience, this event offers local teen bands the chance to take the stage and rock out in front of live audience on a busy night at a local venue.
Whether the group is an up-andcoming rock band, an alternative group, or a fresh new sound looking for exposure, Rock the Rink is the place to be. The intent is to put on this event once a quarter, with March 21 being the first.
Calling All Teen Bands
Music Medix After Hours is currently accepting applications from local teen bands interested in performing at Rock the Rink and other live events throughout Middle Georgia. This collaboration between Music Medix, its nonprofit arm Music Medix After Hours, and Gray-8-Skate highlights a shared mission: to support young people, create community- driven events, and provide safe, engaging experiences for local youth.
