Andrew Clemons Jr. passed away Saturday morning, June 24, 2023, surrounded by his loving family. Burial was Wednesday, June 28, 2023, at Andersonville National Cemetery, 496 Cemetery Road, Andersonville, Georgia 31711 at 2:00 p.m. The Rev. Greg Thompson officiated.
Born on February 9, 1951, to the late Andrew Clemons Sr. and Imajean Gullett in Sandusky, Ohio. Andrew was a retired truck driver. He will forever be remembered for the love he had for his family that he always put first in his life. He was a true outdoorsman enjoying travel, hiking, camping, biking, sense of humor and nature photography.
He never quit learning and was teaching himself French and Chinese up to the end of his life. He served his country honorably in the United States Marine Corps.
His memory will forever be cherished by his loving wife, Kathleen Clemons, daughter, Dietra Clemons and her children, A’la Allen, and Michael Howell, sons, Kyle Clemons, and Erik Spence.
