Mr. Brandon Eugene Knight, 42, of Macon, passed away Saturday, December 9, 2023. A memorial service was held at Hart’s Jones County Chapel, Friday, December 15, 2023, at 3:00PM with the Reverend Clint Jones officiating. The family greeted friends at Hart’s Mortuary Jones County Chapel Thursday, December 14, 2023, from 6:00PM to 8:00PM.
Brandon was born March 18, 1981, in Macon to Melody Day Knight and the late Berner “Buck” Knight. He grew up in Jones County and loved hunting, baseball, and Auburn football. Later in his life, Brandon was able to do a lot of traveling around the world. More than anything, Brandon loved his family.
Brandon is preceded in death by his daughter, Cali Ann “Knothead” Knight; father, Berner “Buck” Knight; grandparents, Charlie Day, Laverne Ham, Earl Eugene Knight and Lois Sims Knight; and bonus mother, Melody “Gaye” Simms. He is survived by his wife; Sasha Riedel Knight; daughter, Abby Riedel; mother, Melody Knight (Cathy); siblings, Halie Knight and Jared Knight (Lexie); nieces, Taylor Adams, Sophia Adams, and Audrey Knight; nephews, Trey Spear, Christopher Spear, Hollis Walburn, Lincoln Walburn and Graham Walburn; cousins Amanda Artman (Jason) and Kristen Day; Andrea Turner, who he loved as a bonus mother; and numerous other cousins, aunts, uncles, friends and loved ones.
