Dawn Etheridge, age 62, passed away on Aug. 17, 2022, following a two-year battle with colon cancer. A private service was held at the family cemetery in north Jones County.
Mrs. Etheridge was the daughter of the late Dr. Milton H. (DVM) and Joyce Hatcher. After graduating from Jones County high school in 1977, she earned a Bachelor of Science degree in biology and a Master of Education from Georgia College. She married Len Etheridge in 1982 and worked for several years as a teacher in Jones County before leaving to focus on her family. She was a member of the Haddock Methodist Church.
She is survived by her mother; Joyce Hatcher, her husband; Len Etheridge, her daughter; Joelle Etheridge, and son Tallon Etheridge.
