Donna Shirrene Mimbs Bryant, age 70, of Macon, Georgia, passed away peacefully at home, surrounded by her loving family, on Wednesday, August 7, 2024. Born on January 4, 1954, in Macon, Georgia, Donna lived a life full of love, generosity, and dedication. The family received friends on Saturday, August 10, 2024, from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. at Gray Memorial Chapel and Crematory, located at 4378 Gray Highway, Gray, Georgia 31032.

Donna had a deep love for her family and was a devoted mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, and friend.

She was known for her passion for shopping, particularly at thrift stores, yard sales, and auctions, where she always found the best deals. A fan of daytime soap operas, Donna also enjoyed crafting and creating beautiful things with her hands.

She was a hard worker and an independent woman, retiring from the United States Postal Service after more than 30 years of dedicated service.

Prior to her career at the postal service, Donna worked at Geico for many years, showcasing her unwavering work ethic and smart, savvy nature.

She was known for being thrifty, yet generous, always putting her family and friends first.

Donna is survived by her two sons, Dennis Jason Bryant and Kevin Shane Bryant; her cherished grandchildren, Chelsey Lynn Bryant and Zackary Tyler Bryant; and her beloved great-grandchildren, Raina Lexi Harrison, Lilith Faye Hightower, and Evelyn Nyx Hightower.

She also leaves behind her brother, Dennis Wayne (Margaret) Mimbs, and close friends, Vanessa Cummings, Marsha Roberts, and Chet Ruble, along with numerous nieces, nephews, and extended family and friends who will miss her dearly.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Kelly Mimbs and Myrtice Pearl Jackson Mimbs, as well as her siblings, Freddie Lee Mimbs, Kelly Ray Mimbs, Connie LaDale Fitzpatrick, and Rhonda Kay Watts.
