Ellen Ann Washburn went home to be with her Lord and Savior Wednesday morning, May 10, 2023, at her residence. A visitation for family and friends was held Saturday, May 13, 2023, at 1:00 p.m., with services following at 2:00 p.m. in the chapel of Gray Memorial, 4378 Gray Highway, Gray, Georgia 31032. Rev.
Matt Loafman and Rev.
Danny Mundy officiated.
Interment followed at Highview Cemetery, Gray, Georgia.
Ann was born on May 27, 1944, to the late Charles Gordon Washburn and Sara Vashti Clark. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister, Toni Sheffield.
Ann absolutely loved the Lord, reading her bible, and loved her family. Sunflowers and sunsets were her favorite and brought her joy. She never complained but could be sassy at times.
Ann loved with her entire heart and was a sweet and precious soul.
Ann is survived by her brother, Charles G.
(Buddy) Washburn III, (Vicky), sister, Tira W.
Green (Scotty), several nieces and nephews, and great nieces and nephews.
