MACON – Harriet Dell McClellan Sims, 73, of Hwy 18, passed away June 10, 2024, in Macon.
Services were held Thursday June 13, 2024, at 2:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Reece Funeral Home.
Burial was at Mount Zion Baptist Church Cemetery. Harold Reece, Jr. will officiate.
Mrs. Sims was born in Macon, GA the daughter of the late Henry McClellan and Mary Lee Peterson McClellan. She was preceded in death by her brothers, Robert “Bob” McClellan and Tommy McClellan, and by her sister Linda Brown.
Harriet was a former Retail Salesperson and was a homemaker.
Survivors include her husband, William Lee Sims; sister Bonnie Wilkerson: her brother William “Skeet” McClellan; and niece Karlee Rodgers.
The family received friends from 1:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. before services in the funeral home.
