Herman Mock, 91, of Henderson Road, passed away Saturday, Jan. 14, 2023, at a local hospital. The family greeted friends Tuesday, Jan. 17, 2023, from 1:30pm-2:30pm, at Snow’s Funeral Home at Macon Memorial Park. Graveside services followed at Macon Memorial Park Cemetery with Rev. Ronnie Griffin officiating.
Mr. Mock was born Aug. 11, 1931, in Baxley, Georgia, to the late Bernice Mock and Minnie Lou Rentz Mock. He was retired from Armstrong World Industries and was a member of Shurlington Church of the Nazarene.
Mr. Mock was passionate about the Bible and immersing himself in God’s word. He was preceded in death by a son: Timmy Herman Mock.
Mr. Mock is survived by his wife of seventy-one years: Janell Mock; children: Kathy Dooley (Richard), Ronnie Mock and Lisa McCollum (Daniel); daughterin- law: Cherie Mock; grandchildren: Shannon Aug. 11, 1931 - Jan. 14, 2023
Curtis (Chad) and Becky Mock (Phillip); greatgrandchildren: Aubrey Gaskins, Laliah Gaskins, Briley Curtis and Carrie McCallum; and by his siblings: Joseph Mock, Ezra Mock and Sara Broward.
