Jeanine King, 58, passed away unexpectedly on March 9, 2025. A Memorial Service and Celebration of Her Life was held at 3:00 p.m. on Friday, March 14, 2025, in the chapel of Monroe County Memorial Chapel. The family greeted friends one hour prior to the service. The Reverend John Haney officiated.
Jeanine was born in East Fulton County, Georgia to the late Bobby Brannon. She was a Jailer with the Jones County Sheriff’s office the past five years. Jeanine loved spending time with her family, especially her best friend, that just so happened to be her daughter-in-law, sons and her pride and joy, her granddaughter. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend to all who knew her. She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles King and father, Bobby Brannon and uncle, William Brannon.
Survivors include her sons, Dustin (Peggy) Smith and Devin Smith; daughter, Brandy Caldwell; granddaughters, Lily and Nikki; brother, Craig Siska; uncles, Ronnie and Donnie Duncan; aunt, Caroline Brannon; cousins, Mark and Christy Brannon; and her fur baby, Jake.
