Kathy Jo Miller, born on November 27, 1957, in her beloved hometown of Eatonton, Georgia, peacefully passed away at her home on November 12, 2023. A woman of grace, wisdom, and selflessness, Kathy will be remembered fondly by all who had the privilege of knowing her.

A graveside service to celebrate Kathy’s life was held on Sunday, November 19, 2023, at 2:00 p.m. at the Miller Family Cemetery. Reverend David McDade, a cherished figure in Kathy’s life, officiated the ceremony.

Kathy’s passion for life was evident in the activities she held dear. She found solace and joy in fishing, cherished the thrill of shopping, and held a special place in her heart for her grandchildren, whom she considered the true treasures of her life. Her family recalls her as a loving, wise, and thoughtful individual, characterized by her analytical mind and selfless nature. Kathy was known for her boundless passion and unwavering faith. A faithful member of Pierce Chapel United Methodist Church in Eatonton, Kathy contributed to her community through her active involvement in the church’s activities.

She is survived by her devoted daughters; Sissy Alford (Jason) and Tara Pettigrew (Trae), and her cherished grandchildren; William Thomas Wright, Jasmine Purvis, James Vincent White, Hayley Reese, CJ Reese, T’leigh Pettigrew, Sonny Daniel, Keeley Miller, and Cody Miller. Kathy is also survived by her brothers; Robert Olin “Robo” Rosser and Frank Dwain “Skipper” Rosser, and her sister; Debbie Brown. Additionally, she is remembered by her stepchildren; Corey Miller and William McTier, along with step-grandchildren; William McTier and Blake McTier. A beloved cousin; Neil Batchelor, holds a special place in the family’s heart.

Kathy was preceded in death by her parents; Joe Rosser and Doris Mills Rosser, as well as her husband; Caulder Earl Miller.
