Kelvin DeWitt Williams Sr.

April 10, 1967 - March 13, 2025

Kelvin DeWitt Williams Sr. passed away on March 13, 2025, at Piedmont Coliseum Hospital after an extended illness. A celebration of life will be scheduled at a later date to honor the memory of Kelvin.

Born on April 10, 1967, in Chattanooga, Tennessee to the late Delbert Williams and Janie McDuffie Williams Powell.

Kelvin was a veteran of the United States Army where he received accommodations for his service which included, Army Commendation Medal, Army Good Conduct Medal, National Defense Service Medal, Army Service Ribbon, Overseas Service Medal, and Sharpshooter Marksmanship Qualification Badge with Rifle Bar.

Kelvin was a devoted Mason and a passionate Dallas Cowboys fan.

He took great pride in his brotherhood within Masonry and had an unmatched enthusiasm for the Cowboys. No matter the season or situation, he was always there, cheering them on.

His legacy will live on by the example he set for his family through his faith in God, laughter, strength, hope, fearlessness and his love. Kelvin enjoyed cooking for his family and was always trying to learn new things. He coached the Middle Georgia Storm and The Williamsburg Starz travel softball team as well as football and basketball. Kelvin never gave up fighting during his lengthy illness and showed his resilience to fight until he couldn’t.

He became more open hearted to love life to the fullest. Kelvin will always be remembered as a funny, strong, kind, loving, joking man... as well as a “Wizard.”

Kelvin is survived by his loving wife of twenty years, Jennifer Williams and children, Kelvin Jr., Corey, Jaida, Makela, Amber Williams, and Derrell Beckett. Sister, Kymberly Powell.
