Lorena “Jean” Donahoo Glover, 79, of Gray, passed away Wednesday, June 15, 2022. Funeral services were held Friday, June 17, 2022, at 11:00 a.m. at Elam Baptist Church with the Reverend Jimmy Corbitt officiating. The family greeted friends one hour prior to the service. Burial was held at Elam Memorial Gardens Cemetery.
Daughter of the late Clyde Curtis and Georgia Missouri Harrell Donahoo, Mrs. Glover was preceded in death by her son, Kerry Glover, and brother, Elwyn Donahoo.
Mrs. Glover is survived by her husband of 55 years, George W. Glover of Gray; daughter, Michele Glover Prim (David) of Bolingbroke, Georgia; sons, Danny Glover (Joni) of Gray, Dennis Glover (Connie) of Portugal, and Randy Glover of Gray; 14 grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren; sisters, Shirley Vasek (Larry) of Wilmington, North Carolina, and Wynell Bunnell (Richard) of Jacksonville, Florida.
Mrs. Glover was an avid golfer, bowler, equestrian, and softball player. Jean Glover had a hobby – flower gardening and weed pulling! She was a long-time bookkeeper prior to her real estate career. She was well-respected in the car dealership community in middle Georgia.
