Marilyn George Brooks, 78, of Elizabeth Court, passed away, Wednesday, May 11, 2022, at her residence. The family greeted friends from 5:00pm - 7:00pm, Friday, at Gray Memorial Chapel in Gray. Graveside services were held at 2:30pm, Saturday, May 14, 2022, at Glen Haven Memorial Gardens with Mr. Lex Parrish officiating.
Mrs. Brooks was born November 7, 1943, in Macon to the late Lloyd Woodrow George and Elsie Pauline Hobbs. She was a former manager for Huddle House in Gray for fifteen years and was preceded in death by her husband: Francis Roland Brooks; granddaughter: Rebecca Thompson and a brother: Lloyd Carlton “Bo” George.
Mrs. Brooks is survived by her granddaughter and caregiver: Ashley Davis; sons: Kenneth L. Davis and James Timothy Thompson; sisters: Bobbie Bray and Ann Kirpatrick; brothers: William “Skeeter” George and Mike George; six grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
