Marvin Davis, a resident of Haddock, Georgia, and a beloved figure to his family and friends, passed away peacefully on August 25, 2024, at the age of 82. Born on October 28, 1941, Marvin lived a life full of love, joy, and passion for his favorite pastimes.
Marvin was known for his loving nature, kind heart, and a touch of stubbornness that made him all the more endearing. His greatest pleasures were found in the simple joys of life— fishing, camping, and the thrill of a good gamble.
He also had a special fondness for wrestling, a hobby he enjoyed with enthusiasm and fervor.
He leaves behind a legacy of warmth and affection in the lives of his family. Marvin is survived by his three devoted daughters: Cynthia Davis-Reece, Sandra Woodard and her husband John Daily, and Susan (John) Arana. His memory will continue to live on in the hearts of his grandchildren; Justin and Alexandra Woodard, Kade and Corbin Buckner, who were his pride and joy.
Marvin’s presence will be deeply missed by all who knew him, but his spirit will forever remain in the cherished memories and stories shared by his loved ones. His family takes comfort in knowing that he lived his life with a full heart and a genuine smile, and they will honor his memory with the same warmth and kindness that he showed to them.
