Samuel Edwin Williams, 84, passed away at his home surrounded by his family on Jan. 13, 2026. Edwin was born July 5, 1941, in Carnesville, Georgia, to the late Samuel and Eddie Lee Williams of Haddock, Georgia. He was also preceded in death by his sister, Elizabeth Dale, and his brother, Charles Williams.
Edwin was a member of Haddock Baptist Church in Haddock, Georgia, and retired from a career in dairy farming and the logging industry.
Survivors include his wife, Margarette Ratcliff Williams; his daughter and son-in-law, Tonya Jarrett and her husband, Jim; his son and daughter-in-law, Buddy Williams and his wife, Deanna; his grandson, Sam Williams and Hannah Price. In addition, he is survived by his brother-in-law, James Ratcliff, and Beth Jobe.
Graveside services were held at 1:00 p.m. on Friday, Jan. 16, 2026, at the Haddock Baptist Cemetery. The family greeted friends on Thursday, Jan. 15, from 5:00 p.m.-7:00 p.m. at the Gray Memorial Chapel.
